What you will do

  • Own the full reconciliation of deferred revenue and contract asset balances across customers and product lines
  • Build monthly and quarterly roll-forward schedules and explain what drove billings, recognition, modifications and terminations
  • Decide whether each arrangement sits as a contract asset or a contract liability
  • Run close tasks: journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis on revenue accounts
  • Review new and modified contracts under ASC 606 and write memos on the conclusions
