Oversees revenue recognition and compliance with accounting standards, and improves the processes that generate revenue. Works with teams across the business to judge how ASC 606 affects systems and reporting.
What you will do
- Direct revenue recognition work under ASC 606 and relevant GAAP rules
- Set up and keep yearly standalone selling price frameworks
- Review contracts and requests for proposals so revenue treatment is correct and compliant
- Reconcile consolidated revenue from Oracle to the general ledger each month
- Help with quarterly and annual closes and with external audits
- Bring acquired entities into existing revenue processes and test new products

- Detail-oriented approach to revenue recognition and reporting
- Experience applying ASC 606 to revenue processes and systems
- Ability to draft technical accounting papers and new revenue policies
- Skill in variance analysis and analytical review of revenue reporting
