Senior Risk Analyst, Interest Rate Risk

About the role

A second-line oversight role covering interest rate, market or liquidity risk, or capital and regulatory reporting. The analyst partners with first-line teams to judge control adequacy and regulatory compliance.

What you will do

• Produce independent assessments and recommendations from data, policies and regulatory expectations
• Support thematic reviews and policy interpretation work
• Suggest improvements to oversight methods and tools
• Follow compliance and operational risk controls and support audit and regulator points

What they look for

• At least four years of relevant professional experience, or eight years in place of a degree
• Advanced knowledge of financial principles and banking regulatory and compliance issues
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Close attention to detail and process orientation

Nice to have

• Experience in financial reporting, audit or a similar field
• Familiarity with analytical tools such as SAS, VBA or SQL

Pay

USD 85,800 to 143,000 per year
