Senior Software Engineer, Autonomy Actions Sustaining

About the role

Join a sustaining team that diagnoses and fixes urgent problems in self-driving software. The work speeds up the growth of autonomous driving capabilities.

What you will do

• Investigate complex planning and controls problems flagged by the triage team, reading logs and replaying simulation data to explain odd veh
• Take charge of shipping software fixes, leading development, testing and release when an urgent business need appears
• Build internal tools and scripts that speed up log review, automate recurring patterns and raise team efficiency
• Serve as the technical link across teams so that on-road issues and current development work stay aligned

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, robotics or a similar discipline
• At least three years of C++ development, focused on high-performance and resilient systems
• Able to work within large, complex codebases that rely on modularity and good documentation
• Record of shipping software to production, with familiarity in CI/CD, large-scale version control and strict release cycles
• Genuine interest in driverless technology and the stakes of software that acts in the physical world

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence and Gitlab
• Familiarity with robotics middleware such as ROS or DDS, or with autonomous systems
