Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Marketing and Privacy Engineering)

About the role

Build the data and measurement foundations that link acquisition activity across paid, organic and other growth channels to outcomes such as signup, conversion and GMV. The role sits where data engineering meets marketing technology.

What you will do

• Own and deliver quarterly team goals, guiding engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems
• Partner with product, design and analytics on ideation, technical constraints and trade-off decisions
• Keep team systems running by defining and watching metrics, escalating when needed and sharing on-call duties
• Raise quality and ownership by setting or refining code review and design standards and promoting them widely
• Coach teammates through feedback and guidance and lead by example

What they look for

• Four or more years designing, building and shipping large-scale backend systems in Python or Kotlin
• Proven work on highly available distributed systems with AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes
• Hands-on with marketing data and measurement tooling such as GTM or sGTM, GA4, ad and conversion APIs, CDPs, attribution or mobile measureme
• Experience with production data pipelines and analytical models using Snowflake, dbt and Airflow, covering event data, identity resolution a
