Senior Software Engineer, Devices

About the role

Build and maintain integrations that let students sign in quickly and securely on shared school devices, spanning native clients and the backend services behind them.

What you will do

• Develop features across backend services and native device clients for multiple operating systems
• Lead projects such as single sign-on for macOS, Chromebook login support and school device enrollment integration
• Partner with product and design teams, and with IT administrators and support staff, to refine integrations
• Mentor colleagues through code review and technical guidance
• Keep the login systems schools depend on stable, well tested and easy to maintain

What they look for

• At least four years of professional software engineering experience with strong fundamentals and device-focused work
• Familiarity with mobile device management platforms, identity environments or school device enrollment tools
• A track record of leading complex projects from design through deployment with technical and non-technical partners
• Experience designing end-to-end systems that meet complex product needs and varied data requirements

Nice to have

• Experience with another platform such as iOS, macOS or ChromeOS
