A senior engineering role in a team building business-critical systems for parcel creation. The engineer handles the full development lifecycle with high autonomy and strong ownership of solution architecture.
What you will do
- Design and implement microservices following Hexagonal Architecture principles
- Contribute to architectural decisions and solution design
- Build event-driven integrations with Kafka, Avro and a transactional outbox pattern
- Write unit, integration and contract tests and take part in code reviews
- Own assigned topics end to end, finding stakeholders and gathering needed information
- Use AI-assisted development tools in the daily workflow
What they look for
- Strong experience with Java 21 or newer and Spring Boot, including MVC or WebFlux
- Hands-on Kafka experience
- Understanding of Hexagonal or Clean Architecture and microservices patterns
- Kubernetes, Helm and GitLab CI experience, plus knowledge of OAuth2 and JWT security
