About the role

A fully remote role building and maintaining cloud-native applications on a microservices architecture, spanning Java backend services and Angular frontend work. The contract is B2B and requires French at B2 level plus English.

What you will do

Develop and improve backend services in Java and Spring Boot within a microservices setup
Design and maintain REST APIs and integrations between services
Build event-driven flows and asynchronous messaging with Apache Kafka
Contribute frontend features and reusable components in Angular and TypeScript
Use Docker and Kubernetes to package and deploy applications, and support CI/CD in GitLab

What they look for

Proven full stack experience with a strong Java backend focus
Hands-on Java and Spring Boot skills
Practical experience designing REST APIs and microservices
Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture
Hands-on modern Angular and TypeScript experience

Nice to have

Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
