Senior Specialist, Provider Network Recruitment

About the role

Fits someone careful with contract data who can work with internal departments and outside providers to keep new agreements accurate and complete. Reports to the manager of network recruitment.

At a glance

What you will do

• Build recruitment lists from demographic data on out-of-network providers, targeting gaps by geography, specialty or member mix
• Help prepare, review and execute provider contracts and letters of agreement
• Handle the request-to-join process and the network inbox, assigning new contracts quickly
• Produce reports and summaries on contract data changes and network status from mail, fax and electronic sources
• Work with other departments to gather contract data for system setup, provider directory and credentialing

What they look for

• An associate degree or at least two years of relevant experience
• Two or more years in healthcare contract coordination, provider relations or similar managed care work
• One or more years using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, with strong Excel or Sheets skills
• One or more years of experience prioritising tasks

Benefits

• Base pay of $67,813 to $89,004 a year, plus annual performance bonuses

• Review out-of-network provider data and update recruitment lists
• Process incoming provider requests and route new contracts
• Check contract data in the network database and fix gaps
• Meet local providers and coordinate with internal departments
