What you will do

  • Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, deferrals, prepaid amortisation, revenue and adjustments
  • Own assigned sections of the monthly, quarterly and year-end close and hit the deadlines
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, resolve discrepancies and keep the chart of accounts accurate
  • Handle payroll accounting, intercompany entries, fixed assets and depreciation
  • Support audits and tax filings by preparing schedules and answering requests

  • Five or more years of progressive accounting work that includes month-end close
  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP
  • Proficiency with an ERP or accounting system such as NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage Intacct, SAP or Oracle
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP and formulas
