Senior Staff Software Engineer, Native Mobile

About the role

Serve as technical architect for a large-scale shift from a cross-platform app to native Swift and Kotlin builds, guiding roughly thirty product teams toward a shared mobile development model.

What you will do

• Set the technical direction that turns native app development into the standard across the organisation
• Lead an AI-assisted migration, designing reusable automation patterns and feedback loops that improve translation efficiency
• Architect a shared native framework in Swift and Kotlin so one contributor can work productively in both codebases
• Act as a trusted cross-functional partner, unblocking teams and holding peer leaders to high standards during the dual-app period
• Mentor senior engineers, build a technical leadership pipeline for native mobile, and recruit through reputation
• Define best practices and foster connection across the wider mobile engineering community

What they look for

• Twelve or more years in software engineering, with deep expertise in Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android and solid proficiency in the other platform
• Strong mobile performance skills on both platforms, covering cold start, frame stability, scroll jank and device-tier profiling
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority
