Senior Systems Architect

About the role

Own the architecture of integrated power generation systems, from generator terminals to grid interconnection, and guide cross-functional teams through design, validation and commissioning.

What you will do

• Define and govern end-to-end architectures for power generation and interconnection facilities
• Integrate turbines, generators, transformers, bus systems, switchgear, substations, protection and control, STATCOMs and storage
• Plan validation, traceability, factory and site acceptance testing, commissioning milestones and performance criteria
• Coordinate equipment and integration work across engineering disciplines to maximise uptime and resilience
• Review power system studies such as load flow, short circuit, grounding, protection coordination and harmonics

What they look for

• Experience architecting power generation or industrial electrification systems
• Knowledge of high and low voltage electrical equipment, substations and protection and control
• Ability to turn customer reliability and availability targets into design requirements
• Skill in technical risk management and interface planning across project phases
• Experience leading customer workshops and executive architecture reviews
• Track record mentoring engineers and advancing systems engineering practice
