Senior Technical Project Manager, Software Development

About the role

Lead delivery of software projects for medical devices sold in domestic and international markets. Guide cross-functional teams through the full development lifecycle to address unmet clinical needs.

What you will do

• Plan projects with product, engineering, quality and regulatory teams to define scope and launch new products
• Own project plans, estimates, schedules, risks and re-planning through to post implementation
• Run scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement and retrospectives
• Coordinate business readiness for deployment and product launch as core team leader
• Maintain the risk register and hold regular risk management discussions
• Work with QA and regulatory affairs to keep activities compliant with procedures and standards

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
• At least four years leading development projects, ideally taking products from development to commercialization
• Eight or more years of engineering experience
• Experience with design control processes and project documentation

Nice to have

• A master's degree, an M.B.A. or P.M.P. certification
