What you will do

  • Reconcile bank accounts each month and clear any differences
  • Track service charge, reserve and client account balances and cash flow
  • Check income and spending postings for accuracy and lease compliance
  • Build monthly and quarterly client reports with budget against actual analysis
  • Prepare year end audit packs and answer auditor queries

What they look for

  • At least 2 years of accounting experience
  • Background in service charge or property accounting is strongly preferred
  • Confident with reconciliations, financial controls and Excel
  • Working knowledge of Qube or a comparable accounting system
  • Organised, analytical and comfortable talking to non finance colleagues
