Service Reliability Engineer

About the role

Keep the sensors, connectors and detection platform behind a managed detection and response service healthy across many customer environments, so that no blind spots appear.

What you will do

• Check that endpoint and cloud sensors are installed correctly on customer systems and repair failed or partial rollouts
• Watch agent status across the fleet for missed heartbeats, stale versions, tampering and policy drift, and resolve problems
• Track log sources and API connectors feeding the detection platform and fix stalled or broken data ingestion
• Adjust detection and correlation rules to cut false positives and noise while keeping coverage intact
• Build dashboards and alerts that show agent and connector health in real time
• Work with analysts and detection engineers to spot tooling gaps that create blind spots, and keep runbooks current

What they look for

• Three to five years deploying or supporting endpoint detection or SIEM agents and connectors in production
• Experience with log source and data feed integrations such as syslog, API connectors, AWS CloudTrail, Azure or Microsoft 365
• Skill in tuning detection or correlation rules without losing coverage
• Scripting or automation ability in Python, PowerShell or Bash for health checks
• Strong troubleshooting on Windows, Linux and macOS plus networking and cloud connectivity
