Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Join a multidisciplinary infrastructure team that handles automated server and cloud provisioning, network architecture and vendor integrations. The role suits someone who prefers automation-first operations and shared ownership of the whole environment.

What you will do

• Build and scale automated pipelines that provision servers and networks in data centers and on AWS or GCP
• Create and improve continuous delivery pipelines for software, server builds and network switches
• Represent the team technically when dealing with hardware vendors, telecom providers and financial institutions
• Handle third-party purchasing, negotiate vendor agreements, buy hardware and support remote staff setups
• Work across disciplines with shared responsibility for the full environment and exchange technical knowledge

What they look for

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tooling such as Ansible
• Ability to write working scripts or programs from scratch in a language of your choice
• Combined background in system administration and network engineering
• Experience negotiating with vendors, running purchasing and overseeing service delivery
• Self-driven, autonomous and open-minded, with a habit of continuous learning

Nice to have

• Familiarity with authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth2, Active Directory or Kerberos
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory

GBP 90,000 to 120,000 per year
