SOC/IP Integration Engineer

About the role

Suited to someone who can work with little direction, solve hard problems with existing methods and guide less experienced colleagues. Progress gets reported to the customer on a daily or weekly basis.

At a glance

What you will do

• Integrate subsystems and SoCs, including first-party and third-party IP and third-party fabrics
• Run quality checks and hand designs off to physical design
• Do subsystem integration in Verilog and SystemVerilog, with synthesis and timing constraints
• Close design quality with CDC, Lint and RDC checks and handle register integration
• Keep the customer satisfied and report progress daily or weekly

What they look for

• Deep hands-on knowledge and 5 to 7 years of related experience with a four-year degree, or 3 years plus an advanced degree
• Comfort solving complex problems and bringing a fresh angle to existing solutions
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and act as a resource for junior staff
• Understanding of RTL design and digital concepts, plus floor-planning and performance optimization
