SOC/IP Integration Engineer

About the role

The work centres on pulling together third-party and in-house IP into working subsystems and full chips, then handing clean designs to physical design. Customer progress reporting is part of the job.

At a glance

What you will do

• Integrate subsystem and SoC blocks, including first-party and third-party IP and fabric generation
• Run quality checks such as CDC, Lint and RDC, and hand designs off to physical design
• Report progress to customers on a daily or weekly basis

What they look for

• Solid grasp of RTL design and digital design concepts
• Five to seven years of related experience with a four year degree, or three years with an advanced degree
• Verilog and SystemVerilog skills, plus synthesis, timing constraints and floor-planning awareness
• Ability to work independently with little guidance and to advise junior colleagues

Nice to have

• Comfortable travelling to a client office when client leadership asks
