Build and support secure clinical data exchanges between healthcare systems. The role centres on integration workflows and keeping production interfaces reliable.
What you will do
- Create, configure, test and deploy healthcare interfaces with Mirth Connect
- Build workflows that parse, transform, validate, route and deliver HL7v2 messages
- Write reusable JavaScript transformations and business logic inside Mirth Connect
- Connect systems over TCP/MLLP, HTTP/HTTPS and SFTP
- Monitor production interfaces and resolve message, routing, certificate and connectivity faults
- Join an on-call rotation and document interface specifications and mappings
What they look for
- Strong hands-on expertise with Mirth Connect and HL7v2
- Solid software engineering, integration and debugging skills
- Experience supporting production interfaces and doing root cause analysis
- Ability to explain technical designs and risks to varied stakeholders
- Familiarity with security and reliability standards for integrations
Nice to have
- Experience with FHIR
- EHR or EMR integration experience
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards
