Software Engineer (Node.js, Python and/or Go)

About the role

You will own scalable systems end to end at a small, fast-moving infrastructure company, from design through production operation. The role covers platform and full-stack work on data systems, fraud detection and operational workflows.

What you will do

• Take ownership of projects end to end, designing, building and running them in production
• Work across full-stack and platform engineering, including human-in-the-loop platforms and fraud detection
• Solve scalability and reliability problems where trade-offs matter
• Ship cross-functionally with research, product and design teams
• Contribute to the core infrastructure the whole company relies on

What they look for

• Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability and system design
• Experience with GCP or AWS, Kubernetes, APIs and NoSQL databases
• An active GitHub with substantive projects
• Proactive problem solving, a bias toward simple solutions and strong communication
