Spend Payment Operations Analyst

About the role

A front-line expert role supporting spend management and payment operations workflows, resolving client inquiries end to end and investigating complex issues to their root cause.

What you will do

• Trace failed transactions using admin tools and processor portals, then guide clients on fixes such as ACH allowlists or limit updates
• Run initial investigations of platform bugs, collecting payload data, logs and reproduction steps before filing structured tickets
• Create standard operating procedures and knowledge base documents for edge cases that lack a playbook
• Spot repetitive support work and build AI-assisted workflows to cut manual effort

What they look for

• At least three years focused on payment operations, commercial card programs or fintech support
• Direct grasp of card issuing, interchange, ACH network rules and full expense reconciliation
• Proven skill investigating raw logs, error payloads and transaction histories before escalating
• Track record of resolving undocumented edge cases and writing clear procedures
• Practical use of AI tools to parse data and speed troubleshooting, with judgment to verify outputs
