About the role

The team works on a click wall where carrier choice and buying models meet, and the tricky part is messy data: late outcomes, sparse sessions, returning shoppers and a market that moves.

What you will do

• Build models that match each insurance shopper to the carrier most likely to convert them
• Own the buying models behind media spend, held to ROAS targets
• Put carrier conversion data such as quotes, policies and acquisition cost to work in production
• Frame problems with the business, find your own data, then build, validate, deploy and monitor the model

What they look for

• 5 or more years of applied data science with measurable business results
• Models that drove paid media decisions on spend, bidding or ad serving, not just attribution or reporting
• Ability to explain your own work down to loss function and architecture, including neural network basics
• Expert Python and SQL, plus handling of late labels, sparse features or drift

Benefits

• Base salary of $175,000 to $200,000 per year, paid twice a month
