YouTube Long-Form Editor

About the role

Own the full editing process for long-form videos on two personal channels, turning raw footage into polished cuts. The role also means building the in-house editing workflow and visual style for each channel from the ground up.

What you will do

• Edit three to four videos per month for each of the two channels, about thirty minutes finished each
• Create the in-house workflow, covering templates, asset organization, revision loops and archiving
• Shape a distinct editing style for each channel through pacing, B-roll, music, sound effects and graphics
• Keep project files, asset libraries and versions organized in Frame.io and Premiere
• Make your own creative calls on structure and pacing before handing drafts for review
• Study retention data on published videos and adjust later edits accordingly

What they look for

• Ability to take raw footage through to a publish-ready long-form cut
• Skill at setting up editing systems and workflows from scratch
• A feel for pacing, sound and structure that keeps viewers watching
• Experience managing project files, assets and version control in Frame.io and Premiere
• Comfort taking revision notes and turning them around quickly
• Willingness to read analytics and refine future work
