Program Services Director

About the role

A strategic role guiding sourcing and implementation work for a group purchasing coalition, working with member health systems and internal teams to secure strong value and service.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with member sourcing teams around shared objectives
• Develop a pipeline of growth opportunities together with partner teams
• Guide sourcing, negotiation and implementation activities so members receive strong terms and value
• Work with cross-functional colleagues and analysts to produce reporting that supports contracting
• Negotiate with key suppliers to secure value during request for proposal processes
• Coach and develop members of the sourcing team and support program expansion

What they look for

• Seven or more years of experience in healthcare, contracting, negotiation or sales
• Strong presentation skills and comfort presenting to senior management
• Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
• A relevant degree, with an advanced degree seen as a plus
• Willingness to travel

• Experience in management, leading teams or consulting
