About the role

A legal professional creates and maintains course materials and assessments for UK learners preparing for legal qualifications. The editor keeps content accurate, engaging and in line with current law and assessment standards.

What you will do

• Write, revise and upkeep course content, assessments and digital learning resources across the UK portfolio
• Check that materials are legally sound, teach well and meet editorial quality standards
• Review and quality assure work produced by colleagues and outside subject experts
• Track changes in regulation, legislation and assessments and refresh content accordingly
• Carry out legal research with authoritative sources and fold findings into courses and questions
• Work with product, learning and operations teams on new and improved learning solutions

What they look for

• Qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales or a practising Barrister
• Solid knowledge of Wills and Probate, Tort, Trusts, Contract Law or Dispute Resolution
• Track record producing legal education content such as question banks, assessments and e-learning
• Strong legal research, analytical and technical writing abilities
• Able to explain complex legal ideas clearly to varied audiences
• Holds the permanent right to work in the UK without sponsorship

GBP 55,000 to 62,000 per year
