Account Executive

About the role

A sales role focused on winning new business among fire, EMS and emergency management agencies. The person works closely with partners and internal teams in a fast moving start-up setting.

What you will do

• Find and cultivate new contacts among public safety professionals and partner organisations
• Grow and look after a strong sales pipeline, run smooth professional deal cycles and secure signed contracts
• Explore agency needs and pitch fresh approaches that improve pre-incident planning, mobile response and community engagement
• Visit customer locations and represent the company at trade shows
• Keep up to date on public safety software, market trends, metrics and competitors

What they look for

• At least three years of public safety software experience, ideally in fire or emergency management
• Three or more years of solution selling, presenting to large audiences and negotiating
• Solid organisational and communication abilities with customers and colleagues
• Able to lead, cooperate and work independently in a fast moving start-up, with a positive outlook
• Comfortable with CRM systems, Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
• A record of meeting or beating quota targets
