Account Executive, Germany

About the role

Sell software for public transport networks into the German market. The role owns market mapping, pipeline building and the full sales cycle, working with leadership and deployment teams.

What you will do

• Map transport operators, municipal companies, associations and procurement routes, then shape the market entry plan with leadership
• Generate pipeline via outbound outreach, trade shows, industry events and meetings with decision makers
• Run the whole cycle: qualification, discovery, demos, pricing, tender responses, negotiation and closing
• Build alliances with local integrators, resellers and other industry players
• Meet and surpass revenue goals while keeping CRM data and forecasts reliable
• Coordinate with the deployment team on handovers and customer launches

What they look for

• Three to five or more years in B2B sales, ideally of SaaS, software or technical products
• History of closing complex deals with lengthy sales cycles
• Native or fluent German plus professional English
• Strong commercial judgement and comfort with technical subject matter
• Self-directed and results-oriented, able to open a new market from scratch

Nice to have

• Prior public sector selling or public tender response work
• Familiarity with public transport, ITCS or VDV standards
• Working knowledge of French
