Drive public sector sales for state, local and education institutions, modernizing their infrastructure with data storage, management and security offerings.
What you will do
- Run the full sales cycle in the SLED sector, winning new logos and growing existing accounts
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Present all-flash storage and data platform offerings as the best fit for public sector needs
- Translate complex technical benefits into clear value propositions for varied stakeholders
- Lead pursuit teams with technical experts, product managers and channel partners
- Build long-term relationships from data center staff to executive level
What they look for
- Proven success with SLED procurement, including RFIs, RFPs and contract negotiations
- Experience working with federal system integrators
- Challenger mindset with hunter instincts for prospecting and complex multi-stakeholder deals
- Strong communication skills and a record of building internal and external partnerships
- Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Track record of managing a territory for maximum revenue using CRM tools
