What you will do
- Set technical direction for agent architecture, evaluation methods, deployment and monitoring
- Design the shared platform layer of agent frameworks, tool integrations and evaluation infrastructure
- Lead the most complex client engagements, from problem discovery to production quality
- Decide what is production ready, balancing speed against reliability
- Guide the move from client prototype to general product with core engineering teams
- Mentor AI and full stack engineers and shape roadmap priorities from client learnings

- At least six years of professional software engineering experience
- Professional Python experience
- Deep experience building and running AI or LLM systems in production, including agent architectures and evaluation at scale
- A record of designing platforms and patterns other engineers build on
- Experience with AI assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Codex
- A history of taking products from zero to one and scoping work directly with customers
