Account Executive, SMB/Government

About the role

A consultative sales role covering government and small to mid-size business accounts for a platform that captures and preserves online records. You run the entire deal cycle and help grow key sectors.

What you will do

• Carry out strategic plans to win new logos and grow existing accounts in government and SMB segments
• Manage the full sales cycle from discovery through negotiation to close while meeting or beating targets
• Act as a consultative partner, giving tailored demos that address real client problems
• Coordinate with marketing, customer success and sales leadership on lead handoffs and engagement plans
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and accurate CRM data to forecast reliably
• Represent the company at industry events and relay market insights that inform growth strategy

What they look for

• At least three years of successful B2B SaaS sales with a record of hitting quotas and activity targets
• Solid grasp of sales funnels, pipelines and lead qualification, with hands-on use of HubSpot, Gong and Seamless.ai
• Comfort working alongside marketing teams
• Strong writing, presenting, negotiating and persuasion skills, confident with stakeholders at every level
• Able to juggle several accounts, tasks and priorities at once
• Resilient, competitive and coachable, with a positive and professional manner

Nice to have

• Prior experience selling to government clients
• Marketing knowledge
