Account Executive, US Public Sector

About the role

A sales role focused on expanding a public sector client base across the United States, signing new city customers and helping shape regional growth for a mission-driven organisation.

What you will do

• Expand the client base by bringing in new local government customers
• Run tender processes together with the operations team
• Manage the whole sales cycle for local governments, from prospecting to demonstration and closing
• Generate leads via outbound contact, referrals and public sector events
• Work with the North America sales and government success team to grow the market
• Share market feedback with the global marketing and product teams

What they look for

• Two to three years of experience with, or strong affinity for, the public sector
• A self-motivated, hungry sales mindset
• A structured consultative style suited to longer sales cycles
• Strong communication skills and the ability to earn trust quickly
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, mission-driven team
• Based in the US within the Eastern or Central time zone

Nice to have

• Prior sales experience is a plus
