Account Manager, AgTech

About the role

Manage and grow relationships with agricultural customers across a West Coast territory, helping them get lasting value from soil-sensor and machine-learning tools while finding chances to expand their use.

What you will do

• Own relationships with growers and agricultural customers throughout the California territory
• Learn each customer's operation, business goals and needs to build trusted long-term ties
• Keep customers satisfied and retained, and grow adoption of additional products, users and acreage
• Build account plans and track activity, opportunities and growth potential in the CRM
• Work with sales, agronomy, product, operations and R&D teams to support onboarding and a strong customer experience
• Spot regional market trends and customer needs that could sharpen the offering

What they look for

• Five or more years in account management, customer success or a similar customer-facing role in agriculture, including work with California
• Farming knowledge or agronomic experience, ideally in vineyard management
• Background with AgTech or precision agriculture
• Commercial mindset with a record of finding and developing expansion opportunities in existing accounts
• Strong relationship, project management and execution skills across many accounts and stakeholders
• Comfort demonstrating software in person and virtually, plus working knowledge of CRM tools

Nice to have

• Experience working specifically with vineyard customers or in vineyard management
