Represents an ophthalmics sales organisation in an assigned territory, building relationships with healthcare professionals and sharing approved disease state and product education. The role combines business planning with strong execution against activity and financial targets.
What you will do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with targeted healthcare professionals
- Deliver approved, education focused messages and disease state information to clinicians
- Plan and execute territory business strategy
- Raise clinician awareness of products, clinical data, safety and efficacy
- Give clinicians tools that help them discuss the therapeutic area with patients
- Meet call activity, adherence and financial goals for the territory
What they look for
- A bachelor's degree, preferably in a scientific field
- Two or more years of specialty pharmaceutical experience, ideally in the therapeutic area
- Knowledge of healthcare institutions and commercial managed care
- Willingness to travel domestically, including overnight stays
Nice to have
- Prior eye care or ophthalmology experience
- Experience selling within healthcare institutions
