Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

Grow the customer base in China for a payments technology company, owning the full sales cycle and building executive relationships. The role combines strategy, revenue growth and cross-functional collaboration.

What you will do

• Drive revenue growth and acquire new clients at high rates
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing, contracting and onboarding
• Build and execute market growth plans covering budget, pipeline, territory and forecasting
• Cultivate lasting relationships with customers up to C-level
• Work across teams to shape products and solutions that fit customer needs
• Feed market intelligence and client feedback into product roadmap and regional strategy

What they look for

• Eight or more years of sales experience with a proven fintech track record
• Excellent written and verbal English and Japanese
• Experience managing customers in China
• Self-driven, growth-oriented and comfortable with ambiguity in a high-growth setting
