What you will do
- Complete bank reconciliations for every account on a timely basis
- Build monthly and quarterly statements such as balance sheets, income statements and cash flow reports
- Keep the general ledger current by posting entries and assigning correct account codes
- Run full payroll cycles, checking inputs and computing wages, deductions and benefits
- Handle payroll tax filings and reconcile the related accounts
- Assist with closing periods and with external audit requests

- At least four years of accounting work, ideally including a senior title
- Practical experience with cash basis accounting and related statements
- Skill in reconciling bank, credit card and other balance sheet accounts
- Ability to spot, research and fix accounting discrepancies without supervision
- Fluency with both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
- Careful review of bookkeeping records and statements for accuracy and classification
