Accounting Manager, CPG and E-Commerce

About the role

You will lead a hands-on accounting function for a multi-channel consumer products business selling through direct-to-consumer, marketplace, and retail channels. The role covers financial reporting, controls, and process improvement during rapid growth.

What you will do

• Run the month-end close and finish it within three business days
• Reconcile revenue and cost of goods sold across sales channels under ASC 606
• Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations
• Oversee payables, receivables, wholesale invoicing, collections, vendor onboarding, and tax forms
• Supervise and train junior accountants on daily accounting tasks
• Manage inventory accounting and reconcile balances, adjustments, and cost of goods sold

What they look for

• At least six years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with consumer packaged goods, inventory accounting, and e-commerce operations
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
• Ability to work as a hands-on manager in a fast-paced setting
