Accounts Payable Administrator

About the role

An entry level role in a busy accounts payable team, handling supplier invoices and queries so that payments stay accurate and on time. You work closely with trading, logistics and finance colleagues.

What you will do

• Enter, code and match purchase order invoices accurately and promptly
• Use internal systems to look into pricing and quantity differences on invoices
• Work toward personal and shared invoice processing targets
• Handle queries by phone and email from colleagues and outside parties
• Pass on problems and conflicts to the team leader
• Follow legal, regulatory and contractual requirements

What they look for

• Track record of hitting deadlines in a customer focused setting
• Able to work alone and as part of a team
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
• Strong spoken and written communication
• Good at building relationships with others

Nice to have

• Prior accounts payable work
• Grasp of basic accounting methods and principles
• Experience clearing up invoice discrepancies
• Familiarity with the ORACLE accounting package
