What you will do
- Monitor purchase to pay and expense processes and help colleagues follow procedures
- Handle the supplier invoice mailbox, answering queries and coordinating fixes
- Keep the daily cashbook and complete monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare supporting documents for year end audits and follow internal controls
- Help develop accounting systems and suggest process improvements
What they look for
- Two to four years in accounts payable, supplier payments or transactional finance
- Understanding of purchase to pay steps including orders and receipting
- Hands on experience setting up supplier payments and doing bank reconciliations
- Comfort with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organisation, detail focus and ability to meet competing deadlines
- Confidence communicating with stakeholders including senior management
Nice to have
- Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or similar
- Experience with foreign currency invoices and payments
- Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, Sage Intacct or reconciliation software
