Accounts Receivable and Owner Statement Accountant

About the role

Own the revenue cycle from reservation to owner payout, keeping trust and operating activity separate and delivering accurate monthly owner statements on deadline.

What you will do

• Produce and send monthly owner statements and help release owner distributions on time
• Match reservation income and channel payouts from direct bookings and major OTAs to deposits received
• Audit guest folios and review advance deposit and undeposited funds activity
• Apply owner chargebacks and reimbursable costs to the right property and period
• Manage receivables aging, chase short payments and resolve chargeback and refund exceptions

What they look for

• Strong written and spoken English
• Degree in accounting, finance or a closely related discipline
• Three or more years of accounting work for a US, Canadian, Australian or UK employer
• Two or more years in property management or vacation rental accounting
• Solid hands-on QuickBooks Online skills
• Proven record with revenue reconciliation, receivables or owner statement preparation
