Claims Processing Specialist

About the role

Process performance-based funding claims and related financial supports for clients and employers, working with a claims manager and quality specialist to keep work accurate and compliant.

What you will do

• Process client and employer financial support claims to contract and legal standards
• Run quality checks on claims and invoices handled by provider staff
• Answer staff questions about claims and administrative matters
• Flag ineligible claims and escalate issues per established processes
• Guide staff on claims processing under contractual and guideline rules
• Carry out standard and ad hoc data entry tasks

What they look for

• Strong auditing background and data entry experience
• Two to three years in a similar role at a service-oriented organisation
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and Word
• High accuracy and close attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information and stay calm under pressure
• Good organisation and time management in a fast-paced setting

Nice to have

• Bilingual in English and French
• Knowledge of the employment services industry
