Employment Law Attorney

About the role

Defend businesses in complex employment disputes across California and the country, from filing through trial and appeal. Attorneys at several experience levels get real courtroom work and direct client contact in lean teams.

What you will do

• Run employment cases from start to finish, including trial and appeal stages
• Handle discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, contract and trade secret matters
• Research law and draft briefs, pleadings, motions and case assessments
• Manage discovery and document-heavy litigation, and take or defend depositions as experience allows
• Prepare and argue dispositive and substantive motions in state and federal court

What they look for

• Active California Bar membership in good standing
• At least one year of litigation experience
• Solid research, writing, analytical and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to juggle deadlines, discovery, motions and several active cases
• Strong client service, organization, judgment and teamwork

Nice to have

• Employment litigation background
• Familiarity with wage and hour, PAGA, class actions and discrimination work

Pay

USD 130,000 to 250,000 per year
