AI Solutions Engineer

About the role

A senior hands-on engineer who converts manual business processes into deployed AI and automation capabilities, proving measurable value across several internal functions.

What you will do

• Lead at least three complete business automations from problem discovery through specification, build, launch and production support
• Build against live systems and data such as LLM APIs and SDKs, databases, accounting APIs, messaging tools and scheduled jobs
• Stabilise and improve existing automations so they stay reliable and maintainable on company owned infrastructure
• Set baselines and return on investment metrics before building, then track cost savings, capacity, speed and error reduction
• Work with non-technical experts and senior leaders to find high value opportunities and challenge assumptions
• Diagnose and fix technical problems in automations independently rather than relying on outside support

What they look for

• Comfortable writing production code and speaking with business stakeholders in the same day
• Able to take ambiguous manual processes and turn them into clear specifications and working solutions
• Experienced building against LLM APIs, databases and business system integrations
• Skilled at demonstrating why an automation is worth building and proving its business value
• Able to own existing automations and resolve their technical issues without external help
