Payroll Systems Analyst

About the role

The role supports payroll operations across many countries and builds tools linking payroll data to the wider business. It sits between payroll, people and finance teams and the technical side.

What you will do

• Map current payroll runs in each market, covering inputs, calendars, cut-offs, approvals and provider handoffs
• Set shared payroll standards, controls and responsibility matrices while respecting local statutory rules
• Define how payroll requests and issues are received, tracked and resolved
• Train payroll staff on new processes and tools and answer their systems questions
• Design and deliver an internal tool that reconciles provider payroll outputs with HR and the ledger
• Automate data ingestion and build exception reports so teams focus on discrepancies

• Comfortable solving complex process, data and technical problems in a fast-growing fintech setting
• Able to act as a bridge between payroll, people, finance and technical teams
• Experience handling multi-country payroll, varied tax regimes and multiple currencies
• Skilled at documenting tools so they can be maintained and extended
• Able to support stabilization of HR data flows after a new HR system goes live
