Alignment Engineer

About the role

You carry out remote standards and alignment reviews, helping clients whose environments drift from company benchmarks and keeping those standards current.

What you will do

• Conduct remote reviews of client standards and alignment
• Keep client standards templates updated or retired as technology and environments change
• Check and maintain the accuracy of client information and documentation
• Report recommendations to the virtual CIO and flag client technical risk to internal teams
• Help maintain the standards library and take part in the standards and alignment committee
• Improve client infrastructure remotely and review project results for quality and documentation

What they look for

• Three or more years in IT administration or technical support, or equivalent
• Experience with network and workstation operating systems, including Microsoft Windows
• Experience with web and internet technologies
• Tertiary qualification in computer science or information technology, or equivalent
• Strong communication, organisation, problem solving and task management skills
