Designer (AutoCAD)

About the role

Produces site specific equipment room layouts for customer facilities, working with project managers and product specifications to meet performance and customer needs.

What you will do

• Create drawings, layouts and diagrams from sketches, concepts or verbal instructions
• Work with field project managers to capture all product requirements for installations
• Produce site layouts that meet quality standards for package creation
• Check that drawings carry accurate information and complete documentation
• Collaborate with business functions to meet serviceability, functional and timing needs
• Self check drawing packages and follow environmental health and safety rules

What they look for

• Bachelor degree in architectural studies or interior architecture, or an associate degree in CAD or architectural drafting plus two years of
• Ability to build conceptual models and perform design analysis in AutoCAD
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
• Experience gathering and defining customer requirements
• Legal authorization to work in the country without visa sponsorship

Nice to have

• Three or more years of relevant design experience
• Design work on medical products or in a regulated industry
• Knowledge of BIM software, particularly Revit
• Ability to develop unique solutions for complex products

Pay

USD 54,800 to 82,200 per year
