About the role

Designs, builds, tests and supports business applications across multiple languages and platforms. Leads small projects, advises on architecture and reports to senior leadership.

What you will do

• Analyse requirements and functional specifications to design, build, test and support applications
• Develop integrated solutions for business units in multi tier environments
• Ensure code and configuration follow corporate standards and that integration issues are resolved
• Produce design documents and manage version control of deliverables
• Track project status, flag issues that threaten goals and put corrective actions in place
• Lead small projects and coach other team members on standards and methods

What they look for

• Ten to fifteen years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor degree in computer science or management information systems
• Technical certifications in programming languages or IT disciplines such as databases, networking, security, analytics or cloud
• Ability to communicate clearly, present formally and work with all management levels
• Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure with heavy workloads and deadlines
