Support a cardiology practice as a remote bilingual medical assistant, handling patient calls, insurance checks and diagnostic result communication. The role calls for patience, empathy and hands-on experience with the practice's clinical tools.
What you will do
- Manage a high volume of inbound patient calls through eClinicalWorks VoIP, assess needs and route calls correctly
- Verify patient insurance eligibility before appointments are scheduled
- Process and coordinate urgent and stat patient appointments quickly
- Share test results and stat diagnostic reports with patients through TigerConnect
What they look for
- Active hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) in a U.S. healthcare setting
- Practical experience using TigerConnect for patient and clinical communication
- Prior administrative or medical assistant experience in a cardiology practice
- High emotional intelligence, empathy and a gentle phone manner suited to cardiac patients
- Fluent bilingual communication
- Zero tolerance for unprofessional or impatient behavior
