Bilingual Grants Specialist

About the role

Remote within Canada, full time, on a grants team that works closely with founders. The job is about owning funding outcomes across many accounts at once, keeping submissions on time and at a high standard.

At a glance

What you will do

• Handle a portfolio of more than 50 active clients with ongoing grant strategies
• Turn founders' priorities and technical roadmaps into fundable grant plans
• Track federal and provincial programs, judge eligibility and odds, and advise on what to skip
• Brief and coordinate grant writers and experts, then review and edit every submission
• Work with customer success and tax credit colleagues to keep the client experience joined up

• Comfortable managing many stakeholders and accounts at the same time
• Organized and at ease with technology and high volume work
• Confident talking with funding agencies and founders' leadership teams
• Able to assess effort, timing and likelihood of success for each opportunity
• Bilingual, working in English and French

A typical week

• Reviewing the grants pipeline for each client and flagging risks or resourcing gaps
• Meeting founders to map business priorities onto funding opportunities
• Briefing contractors and internal writers with context and deadlines
• Quality checking drafts against funder rules before delivery
• Keeping clients posted on new programs and timelines
