Business Development Manager, Japan

About the role

A new business sales role focused on winning enterprise and government accounts in Japan, building lasting customer and partner relationships that drive profitable growth.

What you will do

• Win new enterprise and government accounts as the primary owner of the sales cycle
• Serve as the main point of contact for all matters concerning assigned customers
• Leverage personal contacts with decision makers to open opportunities for the company's offerings
• Cultivate ties with hardware vendors, independent software vendors and system integrators to grow pipeline
• Act as a trusted advisor to key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
• Forecast and monitor account metrics, and help resolve escalated or high severity issues

What they look for

• Five to ten or more years in sales or business development in the high tech sector, ideally SaaS or cloud
• Demonstrated success selling directly into enterprise accounts across logistics, manufacturing, retail, health, field services, construction
• Ability to grasp key concepts quickly and communicate value to customers
• Proven record of building and managing partner relationships that drive growth
