About the role

A commercially minded salesperson builds their own pipeline and owns each deal until the first job is confirmed. Account management then passes to a project team.

What you will do

• Build targeted prospect lists of businesses with ongoing maintenance and refurbishment needs
• Reach decision-makers through calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals and networking
• Qualify each prospect's property portfolio, buying process and timing
• Work with quoting and operations teams to shape proposals and negotiate within guidelines
• Hand won clients over to the project management team with terms and contacts recorded

What they look for

• A proactive, commercially driven approach to new business sales
• Comfort owning the full sales cycle from first contact to signed client
• Ability to ask good questions and handle objections
• Accurate record keeping and realistic forecasting
• Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT for research and outreach

Nice to have

• Experience selling maintenance or property services
• A network of business contacts in the region
